being a giver

I have to share this story. Last night a lady, whom I’ve only spoken to a handful of times, brought our family dinner. Her name is Christine and she is a mom from my home school group. She not only brought us dinner, she pointed me to Christ. As she started bringing in the food, I realized she had spent her entire day making our family this food. She made a home made lasagna, a salad, hot bread, and home made cookies. She also threw in a huge container of home made taco soup with shredded cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips for tonight!

I learned something about this sweet lady last night even though I dont know her well. She is a giver. She spent most of her day doing something to bless another person. Being a giver takes time, money, and hard work. She has a lot of children too. It’s not like she was sitting around watching Wheel of Fortune bored trying to find something to do. She spent herself today for me. I pray she is blessed by our Heavenly Father greatly for her kindness to me.
